How to Open Chakras
According to Hindu and/or Buddhist beliefs, chakras are large (but confined) pools of energy in our bodies that regulate our psychological traits. It is said that there are seven main chakras; four in the upper body, which governs our mental qualities, and three in the lower body, which governs our instinctive qualities. The chakras Manifestation are:
Muladhara Chakra (base). Svadhisthana Chakra (sacred) Manipura Chakra (solar plexus) Anahata Chakra (heart) Visuddhi Chakra (throat) Ajna Chakra (third eye) Sahasrara (crown) chakra.
According to Buddhist/Hindu teachings all these chakras contribute to the human condition. Our instincts will combine our strength and feelings and thoughts. Some of the chakras don’t normally stay open (meaning they operate like when we were born), but some are overactive, or even close to closing. If the chakras are not balanced, then self-peace will not be achieved.
Understand that if you open a chakra, there is no need to try and make an overactive chakra less active. It’s all just compensation for the closed chakras. After all the chakras are open, the energy will be evenly distributed, and become balanced. Open the Basic Chakra (red). If it is open, you will certainly feel balanced and sensitive, stable and secure. Don’t distrust those around you for no reason. You feel present to what is happening right now, and very connected to your physical body. If this chakra is underactive: you tend to feel scared or nervous, and it’s easy to feel disapproved. If this chakra is overactive: you may become materialistic and greedy. You feel as though you have to be secure and squeeze your way out of change.
Open the Sacred Chakra (orange). This chakra is related to feelings and sexuality. When open, feelings are released freely, and are expressed without excessive emotion. You will be open to attraction and can be passionate but also cool. You have no sexuality-based problems. If this chakra is underactive: you tend to be unemotional and lethargic, and not very open to anyone. If you are too active: you tend to be sensitive and emotional all the time. Maybe you are also very sexual.
