Choosing The Right Enclosure For Ball Phyton
Ball Python is a type of snake that is not venomous, small in size, friendly. easy to maintain, many colours and popular in the world. The Ball Python was first discovered in Africa. Ball Python babies are generally about 10 inches or 25 cm. And when they have grown up, the female can reach a length of up to 1.5 meters. And males can be up to 120 cm long. This is a species in which the female is larger. Because the size of the snake is not too big, the ball python enclosures used also doesn’t take up a lot of space.
We can make the ball python cage or enclosure cover as simple as possible, of course with the design we want so that the snake looks beautiful. This snake does not need a large or complicated cage, just 36 inches long, 18 inches wide and 12 inches high will be more comfortable to accommodate an adult ball python. Distinct and well-functioning enclosures for pythons, including, but not restricted to, plastic sweater boxes (eg Rubbermaid), melamine shelves and any of the commercially available plastic reptile enclosures. Glass terrariums and reptile tanks are sufficient for pythons, but screen covers on such enclosures can make it very difficult to maintain proper humidity levels.
There are things to remember, that the more accessories that are put in the cage, the more accessories that must be cleaned while the snake is excreting. Clean the place of our ball python cage as necessary. Remove feces and veins as soon as possible. we can use special cleaners to be safer, such as the clean waste remover.
An accessory in a cage that can make a ball python happy is a great hiding box. Provide at least one at each end of the cage. Clay flower pots or plastic flowerpot trays and commercially available hiding boxes can all work well. Young Ball Pythons will do well in a small cage where they feel safe and comfortable, as a small snake in a large cage can overwhelm and stress them out.
